At OT Kids, we offer in school Occupational Therapy screenings designed to assess various aspects of your student’s sensorimotor development and social emotional skills. These screenings are conducted by our experienced Occupational Therapists, who specialize in identifying areas of strength and areas that may require additional support.

How do School OT Screenings work?

During the screening process, our therapists will assess your child's sensory processing, motor skills, social-emotional development, and other relevant areas. Through a combination of standardized assessments, observation, and parent/caregiver input, we gather valuable information to better understand your child's unique needs.

Our screenings are tailored to each student’s age, developmental level, and individual needs, ensuring a recommendation for a further comprehensive assessment that addresses all relevant areas of concern. Following the screening, our therapists will provide both educators and parents with detailed feedback and recommendations to support your student’s ongoing development.

Our Shared Goal

The goal of our Occupational Therapy screenings identify areas of need and provide early intervention and support to help your student’s to thrive in all areas of development. Whether the student is experiencing challenges with fine motor skills, sensory processing, or social interactions, our screenings can help identify potential areas for growth and guide recommendations for further assessment or intervention.
